Therese Kondash is an Associate Risk Assessment Scientist with over four years of experience in environmental and radiological health sciences and exposure and risk assessment. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Colorado State University. Her training and areas of expertise include environmental health, radiological contamination and protection, occupational and environmental sampling, data analysis and modeling, and exposure assessment. 

Therese has contributed to the evaluation of occupational, consumer, and community exposures to chemicals including benzene, ethylene oxide, opioids, organics, respirable silica, and asbestos in various products and settings. She has performed extensive literature reviews and research tasks, evaluated U.S. and international regulations, and performed data analysis for a variety of unique exposure scenarios. In her previous role as an environmental scientist, she characterized radiological and environmental contamination at large-scale sites throughout the southwestern United States. She has managed large datasets using statistical and geospatial programs and developed and implemented radiation protection and environmental monitoring programs to reduce occupational exposures and ensure regulatory compliance. Therese has also previously worked alongside academic professionals in various settings to visualize and interpret meteorological data and study and characterize mosquito-borne disease transmission.
