Krista is a Managing Risk Assessment Scientist with over 20 years of experience in epidemiology and risk assessment. She earned her PhD and MPH in Epidemiology from Emory University, and BA in Anthropology from Northwestern University. Krista has held positions in federal, state and academic settings, including 10 years with the US EPA’s Office of Research and Development and Office of Water. Her training and expertise include human health risk assessment, environmental epidemiology, and exposure assessment and quantitative methods for analysis of epidemiologic data. Krista’s work has included evaluation of risk from substances such as asbestos, hexavalent chromium, polychlorinated biphenyls, nitrate/nitrite, phthalates and lead. Krista is a member of Delta Omega and the American College of Epidemiology.
